- PT. Starcom Solusindo (Starcom) has been awarded with a nation wide Multimedia Services License to conduct various services like Broadband Multimedia access, High speed Internet access, Video on Demand, Video Conferencing, Tele-medicine, Tele learning, Interactive games, Broadband Radio & TV, E-Commerce, Virtual Private Network, etc.
- The multimedia license also allows Starcom to build broadband infrastructure using fiber, VSAT or other wireless technology.
- In order to offer the above services, Starcom is licensed to deploy and operate Point to Point and Point to Multi point Broadband Wireless Access running at 3 different frequencies, namely :
- 3.300 GHz – 3.324GHz,
- 3.376 GHz – 3.400 GHz and
- 5.725 GHz- 5.825 GHz (UNII Band).
